Jennifer was the second child in a four-child family frequently attended her mother's performance in the theater and was awestruck. Jennifer's parents divorced after she turned five. Jennifer was a part of her young life in British Columbia after her mom was moved to the province along with her four siblings. Jennifer was not able to get an excellent education, despite being a gifted young person. Her time at Canadian schools led to her being often the target of bullying. When her passion for theater waned, she began acting in theatre plays to help her mother. Her children were all encouraged to pursue a passion for performing arts. Then she began to act.
